Ged Reynolds BKA Level 1 Assistant Instructor age 49
I started training in Kendo September 2002 at the age of 44, i always wanted to try Kendo but never lived close enough to a dojo until Preston opened.
I acheived the rank of Shodan in 2005, and would like to achieve Nidan as a personal goal which is an ambition but i train to improve myself as a whole on mind body and spirit, not primarily to acheive a higher grade.
having practiced Judo,Shotokan Karate and Aikido, when younger, Kendo for me is the most satisfying art i have practiced.
Personal likes Reading, Movies sci-fi and fantasy fiction, walking!

Dave Cuming BKA Level 1 Assistant Instructor age 55
Having trained in Martial Arts for over 44yrs in Judo, Aikido and Karate, i started training in Kendo over 8yrs ago, and have gained my Shodan, my future goal is purely to improve my Kendo, i have no interest in Grading i'll leave the ambitions to the younger guys!!!
i currently train in Shotokan/Goju-Ryu Karate and am a Senior Instructor, but Kendo is something completely different! maybe i just like hitting people! only Joking!!
Likes!! Action Films, Flying Radio Control Model Aircraft, Chinese food! or any food really as long as its good!! Budweiser! and Money although i dont posess much and certainly not enough!
